On July 4th, and every month thereafter, we spend no money on the 4th of each month and redirect billions into Black-owned and allied businesses—building wealth, creating jobs, and driving real economic change.

The Power of the Black Dollar: A One-Day Economic Protest Movement
African Americans contribute $3.56 billion to the U.S. economy daily through consumer spending. By strategically redirecting this economic power into 25 targeted Black-owned or allied businesses for one day, the impact could be transformative. Here’s how this strategy could work and how it could benefit both the selected businesses and the broader economy.
1. Immediate Financial Impact on Selected Companies
Funneling even a fraction of $3.56 billion into 25 businesses means that each company could see millions in sales in just one day. If just 10% of the Black community’s daily spending ($356 million) is redirected, each business could receive an average of $14.24 million in revenue for that day.
• Increased Cash Flow: This capital infusion allows businesses to invest in expansion, hiring, and innovation.
• Debt Reduction: Many small businesses struggle with cash flow issues. A one-day revenue boost could help them pay down debts and reinvest in their operations.
• Increased Visibility: A surge in customers could introduce these businesses to long-term, loyal consumers.
2. Strengthening Black-Owned Businesses
If many of these 25 companies are Black-owned, this strategy directly builds Black economic independence by providing:
• Scaling opportunities (expanding locations, hiring staff, upgrading technology).

A New Economic Model
This movement could give us PERMANENT Voting Rights, and prove that economic protest is more effective than traditional protests by showcasing the collective financial power of Black consumers. If successful, it could lay the foundation for a long-term Black economic empowerment strategy, shifting spending habits to circulate wealth within the community while also strengthening the broader U.S. economy.
